We take responsibility

As cycling enthusiasts, we are outdoors a lot and therefore strongly committed to protecting the environment. For us, acting sustainably doesn’t just involve getting from A to B whilst creating as little CO₂ as possible.

As a responsible company, we engage in many other activities to operate more sustainably. These include measures to protect resources and the climate as well as to train and support our employees or assist associations in our neighbourhood.

We increase sustainability

With our business model, we promote the more frequent use of bikes – and in doing so support green mobility. This is also a megatrend in urban areas.

But we do even more for the environment. We have been climate neutral since 2020. To achieve this, we first analysed all of our CO₂ emissions caused by the direct combustion of fossil fuels, electricity consumption and shipping. In particular, it was important to us to offer our customers a more climate-friendly shipping method, regardless of which provider is being used. To compensate, we support various environmental protection projects.

Focus on our employees

Our team members are united by their enthusiasm for bikes. But it is also important to consider what makes us different – our personalities and needs.

Exercise is important to feel fit and healthy. That is why we don’t just promote the use of bikes amongst our workforce, but also offer for instance discounted gym memberships. We also support employees who have special needs so that they can optimally master their daily work routine. This applies, for example, to our hearing-impaired colleagues for whom we hire an interpreter if necessary.

To being a good neighbour

As a sponsor or with donations, we primarily support clubs and young athletes in and around Dresden. And we don’t just focus on cycling.

Whether Dirt and Dust e.V. or Triathlonverein Dresden e.V. - we support many local clubs with our yellow and blue logo. In addition, we have made donations to various social institutions and projects in the past, such as the Lebenshilfe e.V. Dresden bike repair shop or the Foundation for the Support of Hochschulmedizin Dresden.
