A bright background, a clear layout and emotional images - that is how the BIKE24 webshop has recently presented itself to visitors. After a comprehensive relaunch, the popular contact point for bike enthusiasts now offers an even better shopping experience. This is ensured, among other aspects, by easy-to-use navigation, a simplified payment process and an optimised new infrastructure with higher order capacities and faster page loading times. This enables customers to navigate efficiently and unerringly through the wide range of around 77,000 items from over 800 brands, and to find the right products with just a few clicks.
"As a webshop for cycling fans, we know exactly what our customers want when shopping online for parts, equipment and clothing as well as complete bikes. Quickly finding the items they need and having an uncomplicated journey all the way to checkout are at the top of the list," explains Carsten Wich, Chief Marketing Officer at BIKE24. "That's why we placed a lot of emphasis on simplifying all navigation, ordering and payment functions when relaunching our webshop."
Numerous customers already know exactly what they need when they visit the BIKE24 shop, be it a specific pedal for their mountain bike, a new running shoe for the next triathlon or a sleeping bag for the upcoming trekking weekend. The new navigation, which shows all categories at a glance thanks to the new tidy design, helps them find the product they are looking for with just a few clicks. In addition, there are over 400 filters to make a pre-selection base on size, color, material and other features.
Bike fans who want to be inspired are also well catered for on the new BIKE24 website: On the homepage, ever-changing focus topics invite users to explore different product worlds, while exciting content on the category and subject-focused pages provides users with further information. Highlight segments and seasonal campaigns are also placed in the submenu so they catch the eye directly. This way, the company can showcase it expertise and product portfolio even better than before, as an all-rounder whose range also includes numerous articles for other types of sports and for a wide variety of outdoor activities.
The digital experts also completely revised the ordering and checkout process as part of the relaunch. The shopping cart is now even more accessible than before, and the payment process can be completed quickly and easily.
